Workshops

I facilitate dance and movement improvisation workshops, led with queer and embodied ethics of consent, agency and difference at their heart. My workshops support self-expression and seek to affirm uniqueness to facilitate a sense of self-authorship. No prior dance experience is needed as we focus on moving with a sense of play, with curiosity towards the different sensations our bodies can both express and engender. All bodies are welcome.

Through ‘Dear Annie’, I am developing a new workshop for queer and trans people. Dance has been pivotal in supporting my own exploration of my trans and non-binary gender identity and I am eager to design a movement workshop that directly engages the trans and queer community that my work seeks to serve.

I have facilitated dance improvisation sessions, supporting self-expression and play for the past 8 years across a variety of settings, such as community projects, arts and dance institutions, and education and healthcare settings.
